General info

• Officially this is a Dragon Age rp blog for the Warden but lately there’s been a lot of Mass Effect, so if you don’t want to see that simply block ‘v: mass effect;’ or don’t follow at all.
• OC friendly, as long as there’s info about the character on your blog.
• Banter, para, multi-para, icons, all are fine.
• I only rp with mutuals (for my own sake).
• I may be selective with threads and sometimes even asks, I am human after all. However, I swear I will reply to out thread and answer your asks, you just have to be patient… I can be extremely slow.

Shipping

• I am shipping trash and I really love shipping.
• Chemistry. If you think our characters might have a chance please do send an ask and we’ll see where it goes.
• Smut is a maybe, leaning towards no. This is a personal preference and I hope you can respect it. Also, I will definitely not smut with people I don’t talk with ooc or I am comfortable with.
• My muse is bisexual and a very sexual person and flirts a fucking lot, so just because she flirts it doesn’t mean that I’m trying to force ship.
• I am exclusive when it comes to shipping. What does this mean? If I start shipping with, let’s say an Alistair or a Morrigan, I will only ship with that version of said character. I will roleplay with other versions of the character, but no shipping will be involved. This can be done for PC’s as well, but only if it’s requested by a mun. 

Tagging

• I track the tag ‘daggersandpoison’
• All threads will be tagged with the verse they’re set in, or v: undetermined; or crack;
• I tag common triggers with tw: trigger
• I have no triggers (just some stuff that makes me slightly uncomfortable), so you don’t have to worry about that.

• If we’re mutuals feel free to tag me in random starters whenever you want. Seriously just do it, it’ll make my day 10 time better.

Detailed description: Fit, hourglass body. She is a little bit muscular and her back muscles are the most toned due to her archery training.Thick, wavy hair which is rather wild. She usually doesn’t let it grow past chest length. Full lips that are usually painted with red, almond shaped eyes, fair skin and a small nose.

Personality:

Flirty, has a sarcastic nature and big mouth that may get her in trouble sometimes, adventurous, doesn't mind killing bastards that deserve it (or she thinks they deserve it), has a kind and good heart for the children, poor people or simply innocent people who can't do anything to protect themselves. Can be quite vengeful, isn't patient at all, usually messy, tries to listen to her rational thoughts but in occasionally she will end up listening to her feelings. Full of life, can't stand betrayal.

Background:

Born in the Cousland family, the youngest child, Kayli, cannot say many things were missing from her life. She had a happy childhood, with two loving parents and a brother that would annoy her from time to time. When she was 13 she began her training with daggers and it didn’t take too long before she knew how to handle dual weapons. A few years later she decided to pick up the bow and some arrows as well.

When she was 18 suitors started to appear, yet she refused them or simply spent a night and/or flirted with them a little before doing so. She wasn’t interested in an arranged marriage, but it didn’t mean that she didn’t want to fall in love one day and make sure that she would marry whomever she wanted.

She was 22 when the Blight began and her family was murdered by Arl Howe. Being a Warden wasn’t something she thought that would happen, but the offer did seem tempting… she just wished it didn’t happen the way it did. Kayli got her revenge, and she thought she would sleep easier after that, but she didn’t. She knew that only once she would clean up the mess Howe left in Highever she would be able to leave some of it behind.

After the Archdemon was killed, Kayli remained chancellor for a while and then decided to travel, either alone, with some of her companions or the Grey Wardens.

Four months after the Mother is defeatead Kayli is still in Amaranthine and finds out that she is with child. Five months later she gives birth to a little girl that she name Eva. She raises her mostly by herself wnd with the help of the other wardens, her friends and her btoher. Later she finds out that her daughter is a mage but sending her to the Circle was definitely not an option.

She tells people she doesn't know who the father is, but the truth is that she knows and she wishes she didn't know.

Without Duncan there, Kayli had barely managed to escape with Ser Gilmore's help. They found a small village where the stayed until Kayli's wounds were properly healed and then started to look for Fergus. Eventually they found out that he had died in the Korcari Wilds, but some of Highever's soldiers were still alive. In the following months Kayli managed to get enough soldiers and support from some minor nobles (mostly relatives) to take back Highever.

Once all of Howe's men were dead, Bryce and Eleanor received a proper funeral and Kayli became the teyrna. She also sent a message to Howe 'If you wish to lose more of your men, feel free to send them here. But I think you would rather keep them alive, considering the Blight and the Civil War. P.S. I'd start counting my days if I were you.'

She is present at the Landsmeet and is first encountered outside Eamon's estate before 'Rescue the Queen' where she tells the Warden that they will have her support in the Landsmeet as long as Howe ends up dead. After that she can be found at the tavern.

Verse can be altered for Warden!Kayli, companion!Kayli or if your muse is a Cousland warden.

The Calling forced Kayli to leave Ferelden and search for a cure. She had been traveling across Thedas for a year with different identities. Some knows her as Eva, others as Eleanor and some as Nina, and there are a few who know who she truly is.

The lead in the west turned out to be a fake one, however she is close to curing the Calling. She continues her research at Skyhold, also helping the Inquisition as much as she can. She offers all the information about darkspawn and Corypheus she had gathered during her travels and information sent by her contacts about strange activity in and around the Deep Roads.

Is first encountered and can be recruited in Crestwood where she is with (depending on the verse) Stroud, Alistair or Loghain.

Kayli found out she had magic at the age of 7. Bryce and Eleanor didn't want to send their little girl to the Circle, so they kept it secret and hired another apostate to teach their daughter how to hide her magic and use it. Kayli also had a teacher (Eva) who taught her how to fight with daggers among a few other things.

A month before the events at Ostagar the templars found out about her and came to Highever to take her, luckily for her Duncan was in Highever at the time and recruited her. A month later she found out about Howe's betrayal and swore she would avenge her family and find Fergus.

She has the same rouguish nature, and is taleneted with her daggers and knows how to make poison. However magic is her primary weapon.

I’ve been roleplaying for about 3 years and writing for 4, more if you count the stories I was writing in the 4th grade.

I am willing to roleplay threads in which: Loghain is alive, Anora is queen, someone else is Warden Commander. I am very flexible when it comes to the Landsmeet decisions mostly because Kayli's final decision was the result of her flipping a coin.

Also about the Landsmeet decision on this page. It is not my canon one, I decided to add this one here for roleplay purposes. My canon is: Alistair becomes king, Kayli remains his mistress. If you want we can roleplay with this decision as canon in our thread/threads. But note that I will not ship if we use this in our thread~
